Different Ways of Marketing

For one to be successful in this business, its essential to build a strong downline. In order to build a downline, you need to spread the word. Spreading the word involves marketing. There are various types of marketing which I will mention here. One thing to keep in mind is tracking your advertising, so that you know what works and what doesn't. This ensures a better return on investment (ROI). One simple approach toward this would be to run one form of advertising at a time and observing the response rate.

WOM (Word of Mouth)

This is a very common and basic approach toward quickly building a network but might not be effective for everyone. Not everyone has a strong network of people and not everyone holds a strong bond with their contacts. Convincing your own might sometimes be tougher than convincing strangers. How this works? - You refer 6 of your closest friends and relatives and get them to do the same. This takes into account that everyone know at least 6 people really well enough to trust them into getting into the business quickly. Honestly, this is not my personal choice, and I do not use this as my primary method of marketing. However, I do make it a known option to my friends and colleagues so they can decide for themselves and let me know later on.

Flyers / Pamphlets

In this way, you create flyers and have them placed inside newspapers or have someone distribute them for you in public places. You can also keep a certain amount of these with you in case you run into a potential prospect. It a quick way to introducing the business in a short span of time. When prospects call you to enquire about the business, you simply explain it to them over the phone or make an appointment to meetup in person, whichever is comfortable with you.

Classifieds

There are various classified sites that allow posting of free and paid ads. Its obvious that paid ads will hold more promanance and exposiue as compared to free ads. Make sure you advertise in classifieds that cover the geographical location of choice. You do not want to advertise in locations which are outside limits. Newspaper Advertising

This is an expensive method of advertising but might be more effective than others. If building your downline fast and speeding up your earnings is your priority, this might be a good option. Whatever loss you incur at the moment will pay off ten fold in the furure. Different newspapers have different advertisement rates. You can start small by selecting some cheaper newspapers and observing the response before you shoot for the more expensive newspapers like times of india.
